If you’ve ever looked photos of celebrities’ holidays and thought the destination is out of your price range then you’ll be surprised by affordable deals to these so-called ‘A’ list destinations.

Now, thanks to cheaper air fares even normal folk can afford to choose the exotic and bag  cheap holidays to Cuba and other far-flung destinations, once the preserve of the rich and famous.

Caribbean Dreaming

The Caribbean is the top choice for “superstars” because all the hot sun, sparkling seas and classy hotels are in keeping with the lifestyle they’ve grown accustomed too. Global reality TV star Kim Kardashian was recently spotted taking time out in the blue waters of the Dominican Republic. This Caribbean idyll is perfect for beach holidays with a Latin flavour. The laidback atmosphere in Bavaro helps any ‘A’ lister relax and you can too. For entertainment and nights out Bayahibe is busier and a favourite location for scuba divers.

Ocean World gives you the chance to get close to all kinds of marine life and boat trips take you on journeys around the coastline. Another ‘A’ list favourite is Cuba and the sunny destination has seen the likes of supermodel Naomi Campbell chilling out to rumba rhythms and Latin beats. As well as stunning beaches, there’s a rich colonial history visible in the towns and the Spanish roots can be easily felt. Havana’s 24/7 fiestas are legendary and the party spirit continues in Caibarien. Horse-drawn vehicles and several museums and theatres give Ciego de Avila a thoroughly Cuban feel.

Mexican resorts know exactly what an ‘A’ list star wants – which is probably why so many of them choose this county for their international trips. Nicole Richie, Gwyneth Paltrow and Rihanna have all travelled here to indulge in the five star resorts that are packed with excellent facilities, while also being located near ‘mini-towns’ built purely for visitors. If this isn’t enough to get you booking holidays to Mexico all inclusive, then maybe the quiet seclusion of Bajio de las Liebres and its surrounding mountainous countryside will appeal. As well as basking in the hot climate, you can experience Mexican hospitality in Yurecuaro and Marlin Azul is close enough to Cancun that you can go on a shopping trip of a lifetime.

Be a US A-Lister

America is such a great location that many Brit ‘A’ listers aren’t happy with just going on holidays in USA - they move there entirely. You’ll see for yourself why so many stars enjoy it. Gail Porter is a fan of Miami in the sunshine state and Florida as so much to offer, from some of the world’s most famous theme parks, like SeaWorld, and the stunning Saint Pete beach.  Resorts like Celebration are perfectly located if you’re braving rides at the theme parks, while Vineland just outside Orlando is close to the rides and the city, with all its entertainments on offer.
