Holiday Destinations to Escape Euro 2012

When you prefer to build up a sweat lying in the sun or hiking up a mountain rather than watching the football – it’s time to pick a holiday destination that may be Euro 2012 free.

The 16 teams in the UEFA competition have now played one game each, but if you’ve fallen asleep at the prospect of blanket coverage of the tournament then maybe it’s already a sign to be a bit selective over your last-minute trip’s location.

Cheer on England During 2012

National pride in Britain is sure to be very strong from now and far into the summer, with the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee having just finished and the Olympics and Euro 2012 still to come.

The England football team is pitted against France on June 11 and homes and pubs will be draped in national flags, as home-team fans urge the captain, Steven Gerrard, to bring the cup back for the first time.

But England fans will know that it won’t be plain sailing for our boys, as there is tough competition to overcome from some of our European neighbours.
